Final

On the 27 May 1941 at 08.49 the King George V and Rodney opened fire, and the Bismarck replied. Despite a valiant defence it was a one sided battle: with the Bismarck unable to manoeuvre she was a sitting duck. The Bismarck's crew's all night wait was over, and for the vast majority it would end in death.

The Bismarck battles to the last.
